Early Birds: Contest

My studio is a wreck today with bird wings, beaks and bodies strewn on every surface. In an attempt to get ahead of the spring rush, I am trying to be proactive and complete a number of projects at once. So earlier this week, I pulled out my "blue heron" and started on another set of those majestic birds... can you guess how many different fabrics and threads are used in just one of these shorebirds? Have a go and make a guess... I will post the answer on Monday and send a packet of postcards to a randomly chosen correct guess.
