For the Bloggers' Quilt Festival (http://parkcitygirl.blogspot.com/) you are supposed to post a piece that represents your overall favorite work. How do you choose your favorite quilt? That is like asking how you choose your favorite child. Since I have four children, maybe I can be forgiven and choose four quilts...
The Bower Bird is one of my favorite bird quilts. These cheeky Australian birds choose their mates by evaluating their collections... how a bachelor pad is decorated makes all the difference. This piece is in the collection of Diane and David Wright.
The Gates is a recent piece which is made completely of paper. It was a challenge to quilt through the three layers of paper. It is in the collection of a former New Yorker who loves cityscapes.
Two pieces in my collection are represented by the Bethlehem Star and Dog Days of Summer. The star quilt was made for my youngest child when I was on bed rest. That explains the hand quilting... and lastly, my dog Trigger is immortalized in his portrait.

All your quilts are lovely but favorite has to be your darling doggie :) Love it.
Wonderful quilts. I also looked at your bird's nest and it is lovely too.
I think you are forgiven, Vivika. All your work is wonderful--who could choose?
I would have trouble choosing too, - can't decide which one I like best of the bird quilt and the cityscape. Your other quilts are so beautiful too.
The dog is so cute. You do amazing work :)
These are wonderful....I can understand having trouble deciding...they each take work and time from your life at different times..reflect you at different points..each is equally beautiful. Great Quilts!!
Love your quilts. Especially the cityscape as I am a NY'er born and bred.
~Tootles for now!
The dog quilt is just gorgeous
I can see why you'd have a tough time choosing, wonderful pieces, I LOVE your banner! Enjoy the festival
It's hard to choose whose blog to look at, with the count currently over 500, but your name was the key. Lucky me! Your quilts are lovely, energetic, unique. Thanks for posting them. Vivian (at Biddy22)
I am SO happy to be the proud owner of The Bowerbird! You know how I love your work....And, shhh....I will soon be the proud co-owner of "Socks", the brilliant birthday memory of my husband's best buddy our old cat. I think you've really got something there with your pet quilts.
