This is one of my favorite quilts, made last year as part of a triptych hung in a local gallery. Barbara Schulman Kerwin of Chroma Gallery made a similar piece in glass, and we hung them together in her gallery as a "call and response" to each other's work. When I hang it with its sisters, the three complete a statement about color, value, and tempo. The entire triptych is called Chroma Bars.

Love them, Vivika!
Is it difficult to get them flat again when you do circular quilting, or do you just block them as usual?
Simply wonderful. Unfortunately, now I want to try something like this.

I absolutely LOVE your quilt! After looking through so many very traditional ones... this one is a BREATH of fresh air! I love quilts that say it's 2010... not 1930 anymore! It is what keeps quilting alive and going FORWARD!
Thanks for sharing it with us, I will add your blog to my RSS feed!
