Spring is here in New England, and the urge to do some Spring Cleaning has been nearly irresistible for me. I had a few hours on Friday after doing all of my Easter prep, and decided to paint my studio. The space is a reclaimed laundry room in the basement of my home with no natural light, so all of the lighting seemed too harsh and the walls hadn't been painted in six years. Voila! Two coats of leftover yellow paint (Encircled, from the local True Value Hardware Store) and I am thrilled with the results. It feels so good to have a welcoming, pretty space in which to work. My husband is shocked that I can paint (?) since he is usually the one that gets on the ladder in this family. The relative order in the photos won't last, though, as soon as I start a new project...

Thank you! I have had paint in a very similar color yellow for over a year now and haven't had the courage to use it, NOW I have the courage! It's wonderful for a studio!
