Hummingbirds have arrived in my studio! I just can't wait for summer, so I am making them myself. The garden is sprouting unrecognizable pale green shoots under the salt hay mulch. Soon the bee balm that was planted last year will be showing its gorgeous red crown and we will welcome back our busy summer birds. Wishful thinking in March, I know, but I am the eternal optimist.
