Prayer Flag Project Day 15: Transcendence

How many times have we said it... "Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us"? The second part of that prayer is harder than the first, at least for me.  Today my prayer is that I let go of things that bother me, of past words or actions that have hurt me, and that I truly forgive.  Let go.  Forget.  Move on.  Rise above.  Transcend.

Today's flag is made of linen and wool, and is machine and hand stitched.

June 15 marks the half way point of the project:  fifteen of thirty flags have been stitched and hung.  This past week's flags were hung on the deer netting in my garden before I left for my morning walk.

This is the view from my studio window.  It is a wonder I ever get anything done!

Please also visit Mrs. Moen who has joined along with making flags...  and let me know if you are making and hanging flags which are inspired by this project.  I'd love to show them on my blog.
