Feeling Thankful Giveaway

I am thankful for so many things...

For a wonderful family whom I adore...

For the world around us which offers beauty and inspiration at every corner...

For my four charming children who are my most precious reasons for "thanks"...

And for my partner in life who is the biggest ham of all.

In celebration for all we have to appreciate this Thanksgiving, I'm giving away this 5x7 print (matted to 11x14, ready for framing) of my Bluejay to one lucky reader who leaves a comment on this post.  Here's the scoop:

I am thankful for your blog that has helped me slow down on this getting-ready-to-hit-the-road morning! Most of all I'm thankful for my wonderfully loving husband, my two adult children, my mother still being with us, being able to visit with family tomorrow from different states, good health and being able to live again in the wonderful Smoky Mountains.

I am thankful most of all for my family and friends... without them, what is life! And you are so right.. there is so much beauty in the world if only we stop to notice. Doing more of that lately....

What awesome photos you have here...

I'm thankful for my family and the fact that the ones that aren't healthy are still around to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

I could fill a page with all the things that am thankful about. But on the top is the list is my family and that we are all currently in good health.

Vivika,
I'm a follower because I love your wildlife art as I am also into nature and particularly large birds(so far). You inspire me to "do it". Your Blue Heron is great too! www.patbishop.info

Vivika,
I am thankful that I am still here, that my DH and I have settled into a warm, supportive marriage of senior years, that my son is settled at least for awhile, that my art is finding a receptive audience, and I still have the ideas and physical abilities to do my art, and for my many supportive friends, both local and across the world by way of the remarkable internet.

I follow your blog and link to my blog, the Distoriated Quilter. I love your take on life and art. I am thankful of course for my family, friends and health also for my 2 little fur babies who give me unconditional love 24/7. And I am thankful for the internet and online friends who can always bring a smile to my face on the worst day.

Thankful for a sweet Japanese friend from 10 years ago who came to visit me today. I am blessed that my husband of 56 years is still here in spite of his ill health. God is so good!

I am thankful for my family, for the gift of words, and the inspiration offered by music, friends, and nature. I am grateful for my health, and the possibility that rises each day with the sun.

And I am also really grateful for the gift of small ironies, like the photo on your post today that shows this lovely child and the ?momma? pointing one direction while, behind them, the rainbow peeks. How lovely.

Happy Thanksgiving.

So generous of you! I follow yur blog, however... not so easy since I left blogger in favor of Wordpress... a downside.
I am so thankful that while my husband has just lost his eyesight, it is from Age-realted Macular degeneration and not from worse things such as stroke or diabetes... and I am well and sighted, so I can help him...

I am thankful for all God has given to my family. My 3 children have given us 9 grandchildren and they have blessed us with 2 great grandchildren..
I especially enjoy my birds. I feed them year around and this morning the Robins were taking a bath in the pond by the kitchen window. I think they forgot to fly south this year. The Blue Jays have such hearty appetites. The Chickadee's are the most fun darting from pine tree to the feeder.
Life is good here in NW Indiana. I wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my grandsons and my daughter and that, this year, they are safe under our roof. I'm grateful for my friends, old ones and the newer friends that I ve made on line.
And mostly, I'm thankful for my husband and partner, just because.
