Back Again and Full of Inspiration
Ten days in Denmark were wonderful! My sister and I returned to "the Old Country" as my grandmother always called it, in search of our roots. Since our parents passed away, we have found that we are interested in learning more about our extended family, and we'd better do it sooner than later. Most of our grandparents' siblings moved to the US or Canada years ago, but some remained in Denmark and we have cousins there whom we'd never met. Others had visited the US when I was young, and it was nice to get to know them again. Their hospitality was wonderful, and I feel that I have many more friends (as well as cousins!) than just two weeks ago.
I didn't see too much fiber on my trip, with the exception of this wonderful tapestry at a museum in Randers. This is a modern weaving done by a group of artists which depicts the history of the town. Take a look at some details:
More inspiring photos to come!

More photos!!! What a wonderful trip.
I look forward to seeing you and hearing more about your trip to the old country. (Are you sure you were in Denmark? I thought the old country was Norway, although my husband thought it was Sweden. Have we been wrong all along?)
You survived Roskilde ... ;0)
Hope you enjoyed the last few days too - So nice to have you here on a visit.
