Farmlands, Days 3 & 4: A King's Ransome

Finally, the fabric arrived this morning. This mass of texture and color is so gorgeous, I would just leave it stacked in my studio for inspiration if I could... Yesterday, I used my greys, browns, purples and deep green to work on stone walls. With today's treasure trove of greens and golds, I have created several more fields in various textures within the palette. The fields are tacked on my wall, but will move and morph as the week progresses.

I am so happy to hear that your fabric arrived. It is beautiful, and will be even more so once you include it in your quilts.

I just love the Cherrywoods and have quite a bit of them myself. Also have some of the Primrose too. I was so sorry when they decided not to be made anymore. I am looking forward to watching the progress of your quilt.
