December is Getting Away From Me

How can it be December 18th already? We still haven't cut down our Christmas tree, decorated the front door, or finished the shopping. I guess the holidays could come and go without those trappings, but I really do enjoy this time of year. Today I let go the stress of "getting it all done" and enjoyed my youngest son who was home with the sniffles. We baked cookies, made hot cocoa mix for his teachers and dipped candy canes in chocolate. The large quilt for my uncle is still on the design wall waiting to be basted and quilted, but that can wait... and my little one will only be seven once...

Enjoy every moment. As you know, they grow up so quickly.

Enjoy this time when you can! By the way, I have been meaning to e-mail you and like you December has gotten away from me. It was so nice to meet you at SAQA. I had fun at the meeting and meeting lots of talented ladies. Thank you for inviting me there! Have a wonderful holiday!

We missed you...but your time was SO much better spent with Mr. C. And today would be a wonderful day for hot cocoa (recipe?) whilst awaiting our predicted snow.
