Chroma Blocks: Announcing a New Series

Chroma Blocks, a new series of small framed art quilts, will be debuting at my fall Open Studios events. This series was inspired by the intense color and vibrant designs of fused glass artist and fellow Shoreline Arts Trail artist, Barbara Shulman-Kerwin. Her studio is housed in Chroma Gallery on the Guilford Green, and was the location of a show I did earlier this year (see this blog post for more information on the show).
This limited edition series uses compact, linear design in high impact quilts. The pieces are all 5" square, matted to 11x14" in 8-ply acid free mat board, and framed in black. They are heavily quilted and quite stunning when hung in a group or alone. $125 unframed, $165 framed... They can be purchased either through my studio by contacting me, or at my open studio events.
